Case Management

Our Case Management Supervisor has completed the disaster recovery training from United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and has a training workshop scheduled with volunteer Case Managers to review goals, guidelines and team strengths and weaknesses. Case Management services are being transferred from United Way in Palmer to local volunteer case managers. We expect Case Managers will introduce themselves and begin working with survivors in early January.

Fire survivors with children qualify for the Mat-Su Central Santa Program. This program works to bring families in need of the Matanuska Susitna Valley the magic of Christmas for children newborn to 18 years of age.

The MFLTRG was awarded a very generous grant from MSHF. We are truly honored & blessed to have Mat-Su Health Foundation’s support on behalf of the McKinley Fire Rebuild project.

We have also received support from the MEA Charitable Foundation to help with recovery. We are grateful for their support in the community with overall needs to emergency support, their COMMITMENT contributes to a prosperous future.
